2008 Premier's Award for Health and Medical Research
The Award recognises the outstanding contributions made by early career health and medical researchers to Victoria's leading role in health and medical research in Australia. The Award is a joint initiative of the Victorian Government and the ASMR.
$16,000 prize for a Victorian PhD student or recently completed PhD graduate with three further awards of $8000 each to highly commended applicants.
The $30,000 Jack and Robert Smorgon Families Award will be presented to a research institute associated with the winner of the Premier's Award.
