Victorian Premier's Awards The winner of the Premiers Award for Health and Medical Research receives $16,000. There are three commendee prizes at $8,000 each. These prizes are awarded to develop the recipient’s career in health and medical research. “The Jack and Robert Smorgon Families Award” valued at $30,000 is presented annually to the Victorian research institute with tax deductible status associated with the winner of the Premier’s Award.
